Netiquette Info

This is a good site to check out about "netiquette". There are information pages as well as an online netiquette quiz with answers and reasons right then!

Social bookmarking site - excellent resource and a great thing to use so you can get to your "favorites" wherever you might be!

www.flickr.com

Free site that lets you share photos with either a private set or a public set of friends. My example that I used for another class is http://www.flickr.com/photos/marshan/

All sorts of teacher stuff here from free to ??? I downloaded this file http://musicintheelementaryclassroom.pbwiki.com/f/IMAGINING%20TO%20MUSIC.doc for free after doing a free registration. You can pay $29.95 a year and then you can sell your lessons and supplemental materials and whatever, but you can register for free.

I'm adding another link because of some of the responses to my questions about what you have learned and what you would like to learn. This is another wiki that I made for the Integrating the Internet into YOUR Classroom. There are lots of links there too. Not much in the music department - those are here! LOL

Click it and save it onto your comptuer somewhere. Follow directions for installation.

Recipes http://musicintheelementaryclassroom.pbwiki.com/f/recipes.wdb

One of my students from a past class told one of you guys about my recipe file. You have to have Works (not word) to open this, but if you are interested, there are some cool recipes here for you. One is called Bread in a Bag and it is a blast to do with kids! They love it and it's easy to know when you have used enough flour - it doesn't stick to the ziplock baggie anymore! Fun!

Just found this in my email and thought you guys might be interested

Tapped In www.tappedin.org

This is an incredible place! Go "wander" around. If you happen to see BjB in one of the chat windows, tell her MarshaN sent you. She'll know who you're talking about, I think. If not, tell her the music teacher who is teaching music across the curriculum and that you are one of my students. She will REALLY like that! She told me to pass this on to you guys.
